From the name and outside, you might assume this is a generic and bad Middle Eastern place, but actually it's good AND quirky. You want to make your way to the back patio and eat out there with all the people going full hog on the shisha.

We got a bunch of food, all of it was good. **Falafel**, **baba ghannouj**, **zatar manakeesh**, and especially the **cauliflower** and **makdous**. Each dish is under $10, so a good way to snack and get some of that fruity smoke in you.

Edit: This is the place I go to most in SF, and the place I am most excited to show people. I am upgrading it to phenomenal for having my back.

Also! You can bring a bottle of wine here and they'll open it and give you glasses, for no charge. Little tip for you.
